Rolling Hills Thanksgiving Events 2026: What's Open Just Outside the Gates

Rolling Hills is a private, gated city, and I didn't find any public Thanksgiving events listed inside the gates this year. The city calendar I checked only showed meetings, including a City Council meeting on Monday, Nov 23 at 7 PM at 2 Portuguese Bend Rd.

The good news is that some of the best holiday options are a short drive away. Thanksgiving is Thursday, Nov 26, 2026, and here are the nearby events I could confirm.

A certified farmers market every Sunday. The Nov 22 market is a good time to pick up produce for the big dinner.

Harry Sutter Memorial Turkey Trot (46th Annual)

A Torrance tradition run by the City. Registration is $35 through Friday, Nov 20 at TorranceCA.Gov/TurkeyTrot, then $40 late registration (cash or check) on Wednesday, Nov 25 from 11 AM to 6 PM at City Hall West Annex, 3031 Torrance Blvd, and on race day. There is a shirt and a canned food drive. No pets, bikes, skates or skateboards.
